BLACK LOVE - a experiential participatory project
BlackLove Is about accepting disarray as a live driving power, moving on without rejecting the unfamiliar and so triggering new ways of thinking. A «third way» may show up.
BlackLove is about the strange feelings and about the means to listen to the unknown, unfamiliar, frightening and weird.
It is about the appeal of the unknown at the same time with the distress.
BlackLove is about looking for tenderness, tender movements, tender language, tender behavior. Looking for a tender way of dealing with disturbing situations.
BlackLove is about allowing the presence of diffusing feelings and thoughts. It is about taking time, listening and being present more than making plans and setting goals.

BlackLove Project - ενα βιωματικό συμμετοχικό project.
Το BlackLove ερευνά τις δυνατότητες του Visualizing και του Storytelling.
Κινείται στα ώρια μεταξύ έρευνας και ποίησης, μεταξύ δημιουργικής φωτογραφίας, προσωπικής αφήγησης και Phototherapy. Διαπραγματεύεται την δύναμη του Storytelling και προσκαλεί τους θεατές/παίκτες να φτιάχνουν την δική τους ιστορία.
Η κεντρική έννοια είναι το συναίσθημα της σύγχυσης ή αμηχανίας, ένα συναίσθημα που γνωρίζουμε όλοι.
Καλούμαστε εδώ να αποδεχτούμε την σύγχυση ως κινητήρια δυναμική ζωής.
Σε έναν κόσμο που λειτουργεί όλο και πιο βίαιος και ως μόνη διέξοδος προτείνei την δη-πολική τοποθέτηση, υπάρχει η ανάγκη της αποδοχής των πραγματικών συναισθημάτων.
Θέλω να δημιουργήσω έναν χώρο (ανοιχτό, ασφαλές, ελεύθερο, αποδοχής του διαφορετικού), μέσα στον οποίο να «επιτρέπεται» η μη ύπαρξη σαφής και αμετάκλιτης θέσης και απόφασης. Τα συναισθήματα αλλάζουν ακόμα και κάτω από την επιρροή άλλων εικόνων.
Αναζήτηση τρυφερότητας, ρομαντισμός και τραυματικές εμπειρίες συνυπάρχουν και μπορούν να συνομιλήσουν.

Φωτογραφικό πρότζεκτ σε εξέλιξη - σκέψεις
Το Black Love είιναι μια φωτογραφική προσπάθεια να ανασυνθέσω τον κόσμο όπως μου παρουσιάζεται σήμερα με κυρίαρχο συναίσθημα τη σύγ – χυση.: Την συγκεχημένη αίσθηση που κυριέυει το σώμα σε σχέση με το φυσικό, αφύσικο και τεχνιτό περιβάλλον, Την πνευματική σύγχυση ως αποτέλεσμα φορτωτικών πιέσεων από αντικρουόμενες εντολές, του «politically correct” και του “μοντέρνου» τρόπου σκέψης. Η έλλειψη πλέον της οριοθέτησης μέσω της διαλεκτικής Αντίθεσης προκαλει ακόμα μεγαλύτερη συναισθηματική ανασφάλεια. Η σχέση και η συνομιλία με τον εαυτό μας και τους γύρο μας αλλάζουν συνεχώς ερμηνεία, όλα θα μπορόυσαν να είναι έτσι, θα μπορούσαν να είναι και αλλιώς, θα μπορούσαν να είναι μια άλλη από όλες τις αλήθειες.
Εμαθα την αποδοχή της σύγχυσης ως κινητήρια δύναμη, μια δύναμική που επιτρέπει να αντιμετοπίζουμε τους φόβους μας και μέσα από την αποδοχή των διαφορετικών συναισθημάτων να προχωράμε προς την αναζήτηση της προσωπικής ελευθερίας.
Ο τίτλος «BlackLove» εμπνεύστηκε από ένα γράφιτυ στη συνοικεία όπου μένω, αναπάντεχο για αυτή την γειτωνιά, όπου νιώθεις την καταπιεσμένη επιθυμία να θέλει να σπάσει το κέλυφος ακόμα και των κανόνων απλής επιβίωσης.
Η οπτική γωνία είναι των νέων ανθρώπων μετά το τέλος της μεταβατικής περιόδου της εφηβείας, την εποχή όπου καλούνται πάρουν αποφάσεις και να μεταμορφώσουν τα όνειρα τους σε αξίες και δρόμους. Μας εννώνει μια κοινή αίσθηση οικειότητας να αντεπεξέλθουμε στην – ωρατή και μη – βιαιότητα που μας περιβάλλει παντού. Η εποχή αυτή τροφοδοτεί μια αναζήτηση ρωμαντική, έξυπνη, σκληρή, ξεριζομένη, αεικίνητη, μια θέληση για ζωή. Αναζητάει ψίγματα τρυφερότητας. Αυτό το λίγο είναι πολύ.
Οι φωτογραφίες τραβήχθηκαν το 2017-18 και έχουν επειρεαστεί από το βίωμα μιας βαθιάς κρίσης υλικής, συναισθηματικής και πνευματικής επιβίωσης.
Στην δουλειά μου αντλώ εργαλεία από το σωματικό θέατρο, την περφόρμανς, την ναίβ ζωγραφική, την παιδική γλώσσα και το κινηματογραφικό μοντάζ.
Η σειρά και τοποθέτηση των εικώνων μπορεί να επειρεάσει την ανάγνωση τους. Για αυτό ο κάθε «αναγνώστης» μπορεί να δημιουργήσει το δικό του sequence ανάλογα με τα δικά του σημεία ταύτησης

BlackLove - thoughts
Inspired by the interactive process used in modern dance and theater, I learned not to be afraid of confusion, but to use it as a stimulus trigger. «Black Love» is a non schedule-based project, a body of work about finding the courage of making «dreams of oneself». It is about looking for a little bit of tenderness in an extremely violent (visible or not) surrounding. As people in our times are under continuous pressure, disarray is the main state of feeling.
Accepting this state of feeling leads to accepting the different and frightening other (inside or outside us), a process well known during puberty. Learning by interaction with people around me, this process led to accepting fear in order to move forward towards the goal of personal freedom.
Since the beginning of the «Greek crisis», I became more and more interested in exploring strategies of survival, rather than describing the symptoms of the crisis or its impact on people’s lifestyle.
I started photographing people or landscapes, which, in a subtle movement or gesture, reveal to me something fragile or even outlandish of their very own, as their own mode of staying alive. I realised that this level of perception changed my own way of thinking and looking at the things around me.
The people and their surroundings shown here are part of my life. In photographing them, I keep on interacting with the questions they bring up. This is what I hope the pictures will do in its turn to the viewer: to be a stimulus for her/his own thoughts and feelings, a visual delight that lies beyond interpretation.
As a consequence the pictures «need» one another. Every selection and editing/synthesis of selected images may create different readings. This selection is part of a body of work, which is ongoing and changing.

BlackLove explores the possibilities of visualizing and storytelling.
The project combines playing with editing as well as creating new meanings through storytelling, experiencing practically, interactive storytelling, moving constantly at the borderline of creative photography, psychology and therapeutic practice.
It negotiates the power of Storytelling and invites viewers / players to make their own story.

Παιχνίδι
Ο καθένας επιλέγει τις εικόνες που του αρέσουν και φτιάχνει την δική του ιστορία Ανάλογα με το ποια εικόνα τοποθετείται δίπλα από μια άλλη, δημιουργείται ένα διαφορετικό συναίσθημα. Τοποθετώντας τις εικόνες σε διαφορετικές σχέσεις μεταξύ τους, ο καθένας διηγείται μια διαφορετική ιστορία.

Content
a)In a box there are 50 photos on small cards, like carte-visite. They portray girls and boys, flowers and animals.

Game
Everyone chooses the pictures she/he likes and makes her/his own story. Depending on which image is placed next to each other, a different feeling is being created. By placing images in different relationships to each other, each one tells a different story.
Possibility of putting "questions" or subjects such as «Romantic Love» (today). «(Long way to) Freedom».
Interactive Application
Storytelling board: On a metal surface, viewers place pictures with magnets into their own stories. A photo of the «Story» is taken (cell phone, selfi, polaroid). Written Thoughts, title, experience (perhaps a questionnaire). We create a collection of stories.
