I'm an Athens based Cinematographer/Photographer/Documentary Artist
Real feelings don’t shout. It’s a way of seeing things, using your eyes and heart, to catch those moments.
Things change under different lights. Throwing “light” onto them, we may see the real beauty. The one which is hidden by loud and fanfareous glamour or blackmailing tears of pity.
Creating affections with light and a point of view: the strong affection of memories and dreams.

Irina Vosgerau
Biographic Note:
I was born in Germany into a Greek-German family.
Since 1987 I have been living and working in Greece.
I studied Social Sciences and Psychology in Germany and Cinematography at Hellenic Film & TV School Stavrakos.
I’ve been working for more than 25 years in the field of cinema and film making, as Assistant and Director of Photography, and directed some shorts which went to International Film Festivals. I found my love in documentaries wherein also the roots of my photographic research and personal projects lie.
In 2018 I self-published the photo book “TIMETRAVELLER” and in 2022 the dummy "NANUU, the Call of the Gioni". I hold a MA in Photography &Visual Communication from Akto College Athens/Middlesex University (2022) with the artistic research about landscapes & place attachment.
I am engaged in Motorcycle activities as a rider, in enduro riding athletics & photography, outdoor hiking activities, and I love the mountains.
I’m involved in theatre, modern dance and music and I love poetry. I am interested in site-specific performances and physical presence projects as well as in multicultural and interdisciplinary projects.
